Job Role and Responsibility:
As a Principal Engineer software engineering expertise will be provided to build technical interactive, responsive and device specific ‘client-side’ of our web applications. User Interface (Ul) is the software engineering design field for human and computer interactions. UI engineering is the foundation for our client facing software applications and websites. Engineer software solutions on business critical software applications for Wells Fargo customers. Provide software engineering expertise within technology and business teams to design, build, and implement consistent branding standard, rich content, accessible and compliant software applications; provide technical mentorship and guidance to build cost effective complex UI solutions using software engineering technical expertise; Develop and document detailed end to end UI flow and design for web and mobile applications; Work in Agile paced development environment, interact with multiple stakeholders to deliver the quality product in a timely manner; Conduct prototyping, UI navigation modeling, performance driven design, profiling to improve the application performance; Provide guidance and establish standards for performance test initiatives that take a true end-to-end focus on ensuring client side, server tiers are performing as expected; Develop and implement an organization-wide SDLC quality process initiatives to improve application quality and security; and Evaluate and research for emerging UI trends, technologies, tools and processes to bring innovation to department. Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.
Specific skills required:
7 years of experience in core Front End technologies such as HTML, cascade style sheet and JavaScript
3 years of real time experience in developing React JS based financial applications using statement management techniques and single page application modal.
3 years of experience in working with Node JS, Webpack.
3 years of experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 or a combination of both
3 years of experience in unit testing code with JEST / enzyme / Jasmine / Mocha / Chai/ React Testing Library
